Following the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, countries have taken several steps to ensure the safety of their citizens. As these measures take effect, it is important that access to Family planing services and information is not compromised.
With many countries going into lock down and calls for people to stay at home in order to stop the spread of corona virus, women and girls across the world are finding it more difficult to access Family planing services.
When women have access to family planning services, their income rises and they are in better positions to sustain their families and ultimately contribute to the economic development of their nations.
It is therefore important that family planing service providers and advocates remain vigilant, available and accessible to offer FP services during this period of COVID -19.
